Manuel de la Cerra

Patent attorney Manuel de la Cerra earned engineering degrees from Stanford, M.I.T. and U.C.S.D. and is a principal partner in The Law Office of Manuel de la Cerra.

At the age of 20, he earned a B.S. degree from the Massachuesetts Institute of Technology, graduating fourth in his class.  After M.I.T., he obtained a J.D. from the University of Southern California, again the youngest in his class.  He subsequently earned an M.S. in electrical engineering from the University of California at San Diego, majoring in applied physics and semiconductor design. He also earned an M.S. in civil and environmental engineering from Stanford.

The Law Office of Manuel de la Cerra focuses exclusively on intellectual property matters and brings to the table extensive experience regarding patents, including portfolio strategy, licensing, litigation and prosecution.  Attorney de la Cerra is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts of California and Massachusetts, and is registered to practice nationwide before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
